Un chien réalise le speedrun d’un jeu vidéo

Awesome Games Done Quick hosts all kinds of challenges, but even our furry friends are willing to step into the fray and beat a game.

Awesome Games Done Quick is an amazing video game speedrunning community that raises money for various charities. Casting for over 10 years, it's a great time to see professional speedrunners perform crazy feats with some of our favorite games.

As the runners get more and more inventive each year, one brave performer stood out to us. This one absolutely deserves a spotlight. Meet Peanut Butter, the ultimate gamer, and first time AGDQ runner.

Together with his "assistant," JSR_, Peanut Butter bravely finished Gyromite, pressing the buttons required to beat the game.

It looks like a combination of big training, discipline, and talent led JSR_ and Peanut Butter to patiently sit and listen to commands to complete this. This is quite impressive for any dog owner; JSR_ adopted Peanut Butter during the height of the pandemic when he got furloughed from his job.

This feat of training took over a year and also involves planning of optimal routes in Gyromite, which is one of two games that was bundled with the original NES Deluxe Set. That set includes ROB, the Robotic Operating Buddy, which is what Peanut Butter uses to complete this speedrun.

SteelSeries wishes Peanut Butter and JSR_ as well as the speedrunning community all the best as they raise money in the present and future runs.

Follow JSR_'s adventures on his website and his Twitter.
